概述

Elementary Education is a four-year program of study designed to equip graduates with the professional knowledge, 技能, and dispositions of effective elementary teachers with a heart for serving others. In addition to fulfilling the requirements for the bachelor’s degree, teacher candidates seeking recommendation for an initial teaching license from the Iowa Board of Educational Examiners must complete all program completion and state licensure requirements.

The teacher candidate will successfully demonstrate the requisite professional knowledge, 技能, and dispositions in each of the following outcomes:

My years at Emmaus were some of the most enjoyable and rewarding years of my life. Not only was I able to learn more about my future career, but I was also able to enjoy learning more about God's word. The faculty members were very personal and gave much care and attention to the students in the education program. They taught in a way that made learning fun and achievable. This field experience helped me to feel prepared to take on my career in the elementary classroom.
